Can first-time trekkers do Valley of Flowers?+
Yes โ it's one of the best 'first Himalayan trek' options. The trail is well-marked, there's no technical climbing, and the distances are manageable. Just prepare: walk 5 km daily with some elevation for 4 weeks prior to the trek.
Is the trek crowded?+
Ghangaria village yes (~1,000 visitors during peak) โ it's a small place with limited lodging. The valley itself spreads you out. Weekdays are significantly quieter than Sat-Sun.
What about leeches?+
